R:TD Devlog (1.0.0.0)
So after starting development on several games over many years, I've never actually "finished" a game. REGGIE: The Destroyer is the first project I've ever stuck to. While there was more content planned (progression & bosses), I decided to trim the game down to just a horde survival type game due to errors in the code for the bosses & weapon pickup system. I have a few things planned for this game but my attention will be quite divided between other projects this year.
While R:TD might not be much, I'm still proud of myself for finally having a playable game. I always tend to make the scope of the game too big and overwhelm myself to the point where I scrap the game halfway through development. I'll be slowly adding more to R:TD and appreciate any and all support!
Below is the roadmap of things I plan on implementing/fixing this year. Question mark denotes a maybe.
- More maps w/ map selection screen in menu
- New enemy types
- Controller support(?)
- New weapons
- Abilities(?)
- Fix gun clipping
- Particle/dust FX
In the meantime, I've started work on a new project that will hopefully have something released later this year. Thanks again for stopping by and checking out my little hobby project!
